riflemann writes "Another 26 episodes of Futurama will shortly go into production! This news comes from none other than Billy West (voice of Fry) himself, in a short post to his own message board. No further details are available, except that it's likely to be on TV, not straight to DVD." The best news is that means fresh quotes for slashteam to hide in the source code.

I've talked extensively about this subject.Here's a little of the story.
All the stuff you see or hear from when I was on-- ended 11 plus years
ago.Some of the audio replays are from 16 years ago.I got out when I was
at the peak of my radio career.You rarely get a second chance to go out
on top like that.I was all done with it in 1995.I started in Boston in
1981.That's 25 years ago.I'm a radically different guy than I was then.But
it's so pissa' to see this ''internet arguement'' continue until people's
fingers fall off.I'm just tending my garden and when a few A-holes attack
me over this stuff,I just give 'em the old ''digitus impunicus.''
I'm thisclose to selling my show--''Billy Bastard--Amateur Human Being,''
And the other good news is that they're doing 26 new episodes of
''Futurama'' for TV and we're hammering out the deal now.The original
plan was to have the DVD's first but that's no longer the case.I'm totaly
jammed dude.
