so how can i describe last night??
amazing? mindblowing? awe inspiring? all of the above? just fucking beautiful.. and this is what the road crew had to say: What a show! Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the band pulls one off like they did tonight. We got to hear Dave and Friends play Sweet Up And Down, which they had never rehearsed before soundcheck today. Then for the encore, after a few Dave and Trey acoustic tunes, the band pulled out Led Zeppelin's Fool In The Rain. We all had a blast tonight and it looked like the crowd really dug the show as well. Gotta run because we've got an early load-in tomorrow at the Ed Sullivan Theater. Check out DM&F on Letterman tomorrow night -- The DMB Crew Thursday, December 18 12:18 AM EST and i spoke to the bands camera guy last night.. dave has been having a BLAST doing this tour and is loving every second of it. and he cant wait to get back out this summer.. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh oh yea, they scratched waste off the setlist :( :( Dave and Friends December 17, 2003 Madison Square Garden New York, New York Set Dave and Tim: Bartender * Lie In Our Graves * Satellite * Typical Situation * #40 * --> Where Are You Going * Dancing Nancies * Dave and Friends: Dodo Trouble Up and Away Solsbury Hill # Gravedigger Up On Cripple Creek @% Oh American Tune + Stay or Leave Oh Sister ^++ Some Devil ** So Damn Lucky Hey Bulldog $ Green Blue Eyes Spanish Moon %& Save Me Sweet Up and Down Encore Everyday *** Bathtub Gin *** Fool in the Rain $$ * Dave and Tim # Peter Gabriel cover ^ with Emmylou Harris ++ Bob Dylan cover % Trey on lead vocals + Paul Simon cover @ The Band cover ~ Stevie Wonder cover & Little Feat cover $ Beatles cover ** Dave solo *** Dave and Trey $$ Led Zeppelin cover (waste should have been played BEFORE bathtub gin, but scratched for a LONGER crowd version of 36 > ED > 36) |
