i have a few things to say in this post..
it might have to be broken up into many pieces... so please forgive me for the long entry..

first of all, we lost a national treasure today. the original man in black, johnny cash, died this morning due to complications of diabetes. its a great, great loss. his music and his politics inspired others to achieve equality among others. in the late 60's he hosted a special from vandy. the special, which aired his music and guests, had an open forum for young adults to speak their mind openly about the war and other problems that were affecting their generation. the special almost didnt air, because it was too honest and open, but being johnny cash, he said he would refuse to do any more spots for abc if they DIDNT air it. needless to say, mr cash won. he would speak and perform at prisons, that no one else dared to go near. he was a man who belvied everyone had a chance to succed, no matter what their pasts where. he say solitude in darkness and joy is where you find it. this man is a legend, and shall never be forgotten. its a shame that the people who voted in the vma's did not see the beauty in this mans version of "hurt" him winning a vms, would have been a somber ending to his long and influental career. but i guess the people at mtv, decided missy elliot was more worthy of video of the year. well miss you johnny cash.

john ritter also died, but i never really found him very intresting. everything i ever heard about him, was more negative then good. though i do remember him raising money for the upc telethon and him actually getting excited about nkotb helping out. weird. but im sad hes gone, cause death is never a good thing.
